Definition

An instance of this DRM class is a specialized <DRM Control Link> instance used to provide the connection between an ordered aggregation of <DRM Expression> instances and the target field values of one or more <DRM Reference Vector> instances.

The value of the v0_expression_index field specifies which <DRM Expression> component, if any, controls the unit_vector. vector field value of the affected <DRM Reference Vector> instances. If the value is zero, the unit_vector. vector field of those instances is not controlled; otherwise, the value is a 1-based index into the ordered aggregation of <DRM Expression> instances.

The value of the v1_expression_index field specifies which <DRM Expression> component, if any, controls the unit_vector. vector field value of the affected <DRM Reference Vector> instances. If the value is zero, the unit_vector. vector field of those instances is not controlled; otherwise, the value is a 1-based index into the ordered aggregation of <DRM Expression> instances.

The value of the v2_expression_index <DRM Expression> component, if any, controls the unit_vector. vector field value of the affected <DRM Reference Vector> instances. If the value is zero, the unit_vector. vector field of those instances is not controlled; otherwise, the value is a 1-based index into the ordered aggregation of <DRM Expression> instances.

• For the <DRM Reference Vector> component of a <DRM Polygon> instance, the <DRM Reference Vector> instance specifies its normal. Therefore, the <DRM Expression> instances would compute the three fields of the normal of a <DRM Polygon> instance.

• A <DRM Model> instance of a lighthouse has a <DRM Geometry Model> instance with a <DRM Union Of Geometry Hierarchy> instance, to which is attached a <DRM Spot Light> instance representing the lighthouse light. The <DRM Spot Light> instance has a <DRM Lobe Data> instance describing the shape of the light code, in which a <DRM Reference Vector> instance specifies the light direction. The LIGHT_DIRECTION <DRM Reference Vector> instance has a <DRM Reference Vector Control Link> instance to change the direction vector of the light so that the lighthouse light sweeps over an area rather than holding stationary.
