Definition |
An object of this DRM class is the means of referencing a <DRM Primitive Colour> that is contained in a <DRM Colour_Table>. A <DRM Colour Index> contains an index into the primary <DRM Colour_Table> of the <DRM Colour Table Group> to which it is associated. The <DRM Colour Table Group> specifies which of its <DRM Colour_Table>s is being used, while the <DRM Colour Index> specifies which <DRM Primitive Colour> within that primary <DRM Colour_Table> is being referenced. |

· Consider a <DRM Colour Table Group> whose primary <DRM Colour_Table> consists of <DRM Primitive Colour>s for Out-the-Window (OTW) viewing conditions. A <DRM Polygon> that references the kth <DRM Primitive Colour> in this table will do so by having a <DRM Colour Index> component that is associated to the <DRM Colour Table Group> and whose index value is set to k. If the <DRM Colour Index> is solely responsible for the <DRM Polygon>'s color, its intensity_level will be 100.0. |
