Definition

Translucency measures an object's TRANSPARENCY, where

a. translucency_value = 0,0 indicates that no light passes through, and

b. translucency_value = 1,0 indicates a fully transparent object.

The OPACITY of an object is equal to 1,0 – TRANSPARENCY.

Example(s)

·         The alpha value for an Ambient, OTW color can be encoded in SEDRIS as a <DRM Inline Colour> with a <DRM Ambient Colour> and a <DRM Translucency> component.
