Definition

This is an abstract DRM class that specifies a <DRM Feature> that is not hierarchically structured, i.e., a <DRM Point Feature>, <DRM Linear Feature>, or <DRM Areal Feature>.

Example(s)

·         Depending on its dimensions, a building might be represented as either a <DRM Point Feature>, a <DRM Linear Feature>, or a <DRM Areal Feature>. Regardless, it would have a <DRM Classification Data> object that identifies it as a building, and a set of <DRM Property Value>s that describe its characteristics, such as height (HGT) and building functional category (BFC).
