• Consider an aircraft <DRM Model>, the hard points of which are represented as <DRM Attachment Point> instances. Consider a second <DRM Model>, representing a missile. One missile hangs below the wing, and another missile hangs from the tip of the wing. In this case, the matrix formed by the <DRM Attachment Point> instances would convey the appropriate rotation. The missile, on the other hand, would use an <DRM LSR Transformation> to move the missile’s origin (which would probably be its <DRM Geometric Centre> CENTRE_OF_MASS) to the point on or near the surface where it attaches to the airplane’s <DRM Attachment Point> instances.
