Description

Superclass

·         <DRM Linear Geometry>

Class

·         <DRM Line>

Subclass

·         none

Definition

An object of this DRM class specifies a set of ordered <DRM Vertex>s.

Example(s)

·         The geometric representation of a tree line.

·         Consider a <DRM Line> instance L representing a string of lights on one side of a runway. In this particular example, L has two <DRM Vertex> components, a count value of 30, and suppress_last has value FALSE. The <DRM Vertex> instances specify the endpoints of the <DRM Line> (i.e., the positions of the first and last light points). L has a <DRM Light Rendering Properties> component specified with <DRM Flashing Light Behaviour>, so L is rendered as 30 flashing light points, evenly spaced between L’s endpoints.

Notes

1 The number of evenly divided segments/points along the linear geometry; default of zero indicates that the linear geometry is solid.

2 Flag indicating whether the last segment/point is suppressed.
