Definition

An object of this DRM class specifies a <DRM Transformation> defined by a 4´4 matrix. This data item is used to transform between two LSR spatial reference frames, when the original spatial reference frame does not have conformal points (<DRM LSR Location 2D>s) that need to be maintained as conformal points. If the original spatial reference frame does have conformal points (<DRM LSR Location 2D> objects), a <DRM World Transformation> should be used instead.

Note that the 4x4 matrix may be explicitly specified as a <DRM Local 4X4>, implicitly by a series of <DRM LSR Transformation Step>s, or both, as long as the LSR transformation components constraint is obeyed.

Example(s)

·         Used when instancing a wheel to the axle of a vehicle. See <DRM Transformation> for general examples.
