Class

·         <DRM Internal Feature Face Ring>

Subclass

·         none

Definition

An object of this DRM class specifies the one-directional topological relationship between a <DRM Feature Face> and the ordered collection of one or more <DRM Feature Edge>s that define one of its inner boundaries (i.e., a "hole" within the <DRM Feature Face>).

Example(s)

·         An island within a lake is represented by a <DRM Regular Feature Face>. The shoreline of the island is represented by a single Feature Edge, and the lake is represented by another <DRM Regular Feature Face>. The <DRM Feature Edge> that defines the shoreline of the island is the sole component of a <DRM Internal Feature Face Ring> component of the <DRM Regular Feature Face> that represents the lake. The <DRM Edge Direction> associated with each <DRM Feature Edge> indicates its orientation with respect to the <DRM Internal Feature Face Ring>.
