Definition

This is an abstract DRM class that specifies the objects that define both the geometric (i.e., location, shape) and topological (i.e., adjacency) aspects of <DRM Feature>s, including <DRM Feature Node>s, <DRM Feature Edge>s, and <DRM Feature Face>s. A topological surface consists of a collection of <DRM Feature Topology> objects related to one another through a variety of topological relationships.

Example(s)

·         In a collection of representing a transportation network, the <DRM Feature Face>s representing built-up areas, airfields, railroad yards, and parking lots, the <DRM Feature Edge>s representing their boundaries for such things as roads, railroads, and runways, and the <DRM Feature Node>s representing such things as road intersections and railroad crossings.
