Class

·         <DRM Index Level Of Detail Data>

Subclass

·         none

Definition

The value of the index indicates the relative level of detail of the associated data. Lower values indicate more detailed versions. For example, if ten versions of an item are provided, and their Level of Detail indices are numbered 1 through 10, number 1 is the most detailed version, and number 10 is the least detailed version.

Example(s)

·         Certain applications increase the level of detail not based on the distance from the observer but based on an index that is related to fog density.
